The Profile Panel memory box, one memory shadowbox for dementia available from Dementia Friendly Design, is a sleek design created to include the most important factors in room recognition: resident photograph, name, room number in numerals and in braille, and personal shadowbox to decorate with memorabilia. Each unit is designed for single occupancy. This one is for recessing into a wall. The same design in a surface mount model is available here. All are available in 5 woodgrains and white, and with a choice of three backer fabrics.
The room number on this model is also in braille. Hanging Measurements: *ADA regulations require that the braille room number sign has to be on the same side of the door as the latch. The braille has to be between 48” – 60” from the floor and a minimum of 9” on center away from the door (see illustration).
